Dolna Dikanya is a village in Western Bulgaria. It is located in the municipality of Radomir municipality, District Pernik.
It is 18 km southeast of the town of Radomir, about 28 km in the same direction from the town of Pernik, and almost 41 km southwest of Sofia.
Its population is about 470 inhabitants.
The climate is continental. Its character is defined by the relatively high altitude. Late spring, cool summer, warm autumn and long winter.

The village is cultivated with town hall, three churches, community center and school, PBX, Internet access, cable TV and cover all mobile operators. Here is one of two in Bulgaria SOS - Children's Villages. Health care residents a general practitioner and a pharmacy. The nearest hospital is located in the town of Radomir.
The village is laid out and well-maintained infrastructure. There is electricity and built almost entirely built communications network, covering all mobile operators, automatic telephone exchange.

Regular bus service connects the village with settlements in the municipality.
Passes through the village main road E 79 / Sofia Tower / part of the Struma motorway, which carries out transport links with Greece. The region is one of the oldest trade routes in the Balkans Thessaloniki-Sofia-Skopje.
The lovely scenery, clean air dam and the proximity to Sofia in recent years attracted the interest of buyers to the village and surrounding area.
