Butrointsi is village in West Bulgaria. It is situated in Tran municipality, Pernik region.
It is 4 km north from the village of Filipovtsi, 12 km northeast from the town of Tran and 42 km northwest from the town of Pernik. The capital Sofia is 72 km southeast.
It is scattered on many neighborhoods that are on mountain region and its altitude is about 950 m. The climate is temperate and is with cold winter and warm summer.
The permanent population is about 18 people.
The nearest store is in the neighboring village, while in the town of Tran there are also GPs, dentists, hospital, kindergarten and school.
Tourism and landmarks
From Dragovska neighborhood in the neighboring village starts the route for climbing of Dragovksi kamak. It is very hard to overtake for there are many places that need to be rock climbing.
The neighboring village of Bankya is famous for mineral springs and is starting point of eco path that leads to the famous Erma river gorge.
Another natural landmark in the area is Vrabcha waterfall that is less than 5 km away.
The people that enjoy fishing can go on an excursion to one of the near dams - Lilyantsi or Krasava.
Also interesting tourist attraction is the old rock church "St Petka" that is near the town of Tran.
