Stefanovo is a village in West Bulgaria. It is situated in Radomir municipality, Pernik region.

In Bulgaria there are three other settlements with the same name in Dobrich municipality, Dobrich region, Lovech municipality, Lovech region and in Gabrovo municipality, Gabrovo region.

It is 9 km southeast of the town of Radomir and 23 km south of the town of Pernik. The village of Galabnik is 14 km southeast. The neighboring village of Dolni Rakovets is 2 km southwest and the village of Drugan is 7 km east. The capital Sofia is 51 km northeast.

Bus transportation connects it to the other settlements.

The permanent population is about 441 people.

It is situated at the foot of Ostritsa mountain and its altitude is between 500 and 700 meters. The climate is temperate and is characterized by severe snowy winter and cool summer. The spring comes late. It is often foggy.

Here are functioning town hall, community center, shop and coffee shop. The nearest school is in the village of Galabnik. Medical assistance you can get on the territory of the town of Radomir where there also is kindergarten. Near Stefanovo there is track for motor sports. There are organized races and trainings. There is also football club. On the area where the old chapel was standing is constructed new one named "St Yoan".

Stefanovo dam is located just to the village and is very nice place suitable for fishing of pike, carp and other fishes. In the area there are three other dams Varba, Dolna Dikanya and Studena.

In Pernik you should visit the medieval fortress Krakra.

Interesting natural landmark is the largest cave in Bulgaria - Duhlata (15 km).
