Kalotintsi is a village in West Bulgaria. It is situated in Zemen municipality, Pernik region.

It is 9 km northwest of the town of Zemen and 52 km southwest of the town of Pernik. The neighboring village of Vranya stena is 3 km southest and the capital Sofia is 79 km northeast.

It located in mountain region and its altitude is 716 m. The climate is temperate and is influenced by the mountain relief. It is characterized by cold winter and warm summer.
In proximity pass the rivers Treklyanska and Divlyanska that at the center of the village they flow and form one of the large tributaries of Struma river.

The permanent population is about 101 people. They are mainly occupied in livestock breeding and farming. The rivers are full of Balcan and American trout. In the woods live deers, wild cats and boars which makes suitable for hunting.

Here are functioning mayor's vice royalty, store, community center and pub. There also is paramedical center. The nearest schools, kindergarten and polyclinic are on the territory of the town of Zemen. In Pernik there is hospital.

At the yard of the old school there is constructed monument of the people who died during the wars.

In the area there are many opportunities for cultural tourism - people should visit Chepinski monastery (8 km), Zemenski monastery (9 km), Zhablyanski monastery (10 km), Radibosh monastery (13 km) and Giginski monastery (16 km).

Great place for an excursion is Polska Skakavitsa waterfall (14 km) that is extremely beautiful and the water falls from 50 height.

People that enjoy fishing should take advantage from the conditions near Pchelina dam (11 km) which is stocked and other amenities are parking, bay, restaurant and bungalows.
