Rasnik village

Rasnik is a village in western Bulgaria. It is located in the municipality of Pernik, District Pernik.
The village is located 12 miles north of Pernik, 40 km west of Sofia.
Rasnik to have daily bus from the town of Pernik.
Rasnik is situated at an altitude of 767 m in the valley of the mountains Bazglav and Viskyar. The population is about 415 inhabitants.
Summer is hot and winter occurs earlier than other parts of the country. Autumn is warmer than spring.
The village is well maintained. There are several shops.
The local church was built in 1460, and the school in 1934. The village also has a second church - a small chapel located in the slopes of the mountain Viskyar.

Nearest schools and kindergartens in the district town of Pernik.
The village is popular with excellent conditions for paragliding. Sleek sport is practiced on a hill called Rasnishki Bair, who is part of Viskyar Mountain.
Vicinity of Rasnik with beautiful scenery and wonderful places to stroll and picnic. Located 6 km south of the village dam Meshtitsa offers opportunities for fishing.
