Nikolaevo is a village in West Bulgaria. It is situated in Radomir municipality, Pernik region

In Bulgaria there are five other settlements with the same name - the town of Nikolaevo, Stara Zagora region, village of Nikolaevo, Veliko Tarnovo region, village of Nikolaevo, Pleven region, village of Nikolaevo, Sliven region and the village of Nikolaevo, Gabrovo region

It is 3 km west of the town of Radomir and 16 km southwest of the town of Pernik. The capital Sofia is 43 km northeast. 

The village is located at the foot of Cherna (Tsarna) gora mountain and its altitude is 702 m. The climate is temperate and is characterized by severe, snowy winter and cool summer. The fall is short, rainy and foggy. The spring is cold and does not last long. 

The permanent population is about 50 people. 

Here functions mayor's vice royalty and in Radomir you find stores and other business, medical assistanceq schools and kindergartens. 

In proximity are situated Chervena mogila dam (6 km) and Pchelina dam (7 km) that offer great opportunities to the people who enjoy fishing and the relaxation in the nature. 

Interesting natural landmark is Chokliovo blato which is the largest peat bog in Bulgaria and is protected territory. Here grow sphagnum (type of moss), Pedicularis palustris, rosemary willow etc.

The Radibosh monastery "St Troitsa" is nice place for excursion and is situated about 6 km from the village. Another cultural landmark that you should see is Giginski monastery "St st Kozma and Damyan" (12 km).

Near Pernik you visit the medieval fortress Krakra
