Krasava is a village in West Bulgaria. It is situated in Breznik municipality, Pernik region

It is 8 km northwest of the town of Breznik and 27 km in the same direction from the town of Pernik. The capital Sofia is 56 km east. 

It is located in mountain area and its altitude is 927 m. The climate is temperate. The spring comes earlier at the end of March and the beginning of April. The summer is cool. The winter comes earlier than in the other parts of the country. 

Bus transportation connects it to the town of Breznik. 

The permanent population is about 41 people. 

Here are functioning mayor's vice royalty and store. The village is with its own hunting party. The nearest schools and kindergartens are in the town of Breznik where you can also get specialized medical assistance. 

According to the legend the village is named after the beautiful young woman Krasa.

Krasava dam near the village is wonderful place for fishing and there are installed tents, benches and tables for the comfort of the tourists. It is stocked with fishes - carp, channel catfish, trout and grass carp weekly. In the dam there are trophy fishes European carp, grass carp and carp that could grow up to 10 kg. 

Beautiful natural object that you could go on an excursion is the Erma Gorge (19 km).

Bardoto area is famous for its "zhelyazna" mineral water which springs from the south part of the hill in Leskov dol area. The mineral spring attracts healthy and sick people from the ancient past for its healing characteristics which are due to the rich mineral chemical compounds and valuable physico-chemical and and physiological characteristics.
