Yarlovtsi is a village in West Bulgaria. It is situated in Tran municipality, Pernik region.

It is 10 km southwest from the town of Tran and 56 km northwest from the town of Pernik. The capital Sofia is 85 km east.

It is located in mountain region and its altitude is about 750 m. The climate is with clearly expressed four seasons - warm but not hot summer while the winter is severe. The spring is cool with lots of precipitation and comes in the end of March the beginning of April and the fall is warmer.

The permanent population is about 47 people.

The nearest school and kindergarten are working in Tran where you can also get medical assistance.

Tourism and landmarks

In the village there is Orthodox temple "St Velikomachenik Dimitar Solunski" that was constructed in 1835.

Tourist attraction is the located in proximity Yarlovtsi dam that offers excellent conditions for fishing as it is stocked with fish - carp, rudd and etc.

The most interesting landmark in the region is Erma River Gorge. Near Vrabcha village you can see the wonderful waterfall that freezes in the winter in beautiful forms. Another interesting natural phenomenon is Rui peak.
