The Strelbishte quarter is one of the most prestigious and preferred ones for living. It is situated in south Sofia. To the east it borders P. YU. Todorov Blvd. and South Park, to the south - Gotze Delchev Blvd., and to the northwest - Bulgaria Blvd.
Strelbishte is a very successful combination of old panel, brick and large-area shuttering ("EPK") buildings, as well as new luxury constructions. Almost every building in the neighbourhood has central heating.
The first panel blocks were built around the 70s, and the newer ones- around the end of the 80s. The monolithic and EPK construction works were especially dynamic in the 80s.
The location of the quarter and the proximity of the South Park, as well as its very good infrastructure, make this neighbourhood extremely attractive for investors and respected construction companies.
Emblematic for this quarter are Nishava St., Haidushka Gora St., Bademova Gora St., especially in its part near the South Park, as well as Enos St., Mayor Parvan Toshev St., Dedeagach St., Trayanovi Vrata St., which are near the Bulgaria Blvd.
The quarter is very green and has many playgrounds.
