Geo Milev is one of the biggest quarters in the capital and it is located in its eastern half, close to the centre.
It borders with Reduta Quarter to the north, with Yavorov housing estate to the west. Sitnyakovo Blvd. separates them from Geo Milev. Tsarigradsko shose Blvd. separated it from Iztok housing estate, which is on the south. Slatina quarter is on the east.
Geo Milev is rather quiet and the air is clean. This is one of the oldest quarters of Sofia, built in the sixties. In the last 10 years the quarter is filled with new luxury blocks of flats. The quarter is very well planted, thanks to the Geo Milev Park, where the Festivalna Sports Hall, the Akademik Stadium and the Universiada Hall are located.
There are 4 schools in the area, a college and Foreign Student Centre.
The police department servicing the area - Ist Regional Police Department - is located at Shipchenski prohod Blvd.
Traffic police department Sofia District is located on 71 Geo Milev Blvd .
