Gotse Delchev quarter is situated in the southern part of Sofia city.
The Gotse Delchev quarter is situated in the south part of Sofia in close proximity to South Park. It is between the Gotse Delchev Blvd., Srebarna Str., Todor Kableshkov St. and Bulgaria Blvd.
Gotse Delchev and the neighboring quarters consist of a combination of old and new buildings. The first panel and brick blocks were built in the 60s. Later on also began the construction of high-rise EPK /buildings with large-area shuttering/.
After 1990, the quarter with its advantages has turned into an extremely attractive place for construction companies and investors. Many new buildings have been built. They contribute to the modern image of one of the oldest neighborhoods of Sofia. New constructions works in Gotse Delchev have been primarily made at Deyan Belishki St., Kostenski Vodopad St., Slavovitsa St., etc.
The Comprehensive High School No. 73 with intensive foreign language teaching is located on Silivriya St., the primary School No. 104 is near the Triaditza Hall, and Comprehensive High School No. 121 with intensive French and English language teaching is at 24 Georgi Izmirliev St. close in Bulgaria Blvd. There is a big and modern kindergarten at 16 Kiro Tuleshkov St., next to Silivriya St. 29th Diagnostics and Consultancy centre is located at 64 Kostenski Vodopad St., next to Georgi Izmirliev St. On the territory of the Gotse Delchev St. there is also a sports hall, a post office and the public-utilities combine factory.
The quarter is reached by bus and trolley, passing along the biggest road junctions in the region - the Gotse Delchev, Petko Yu. Todorov, and Todor Kableshkov boulevards.
