Zona B-19 Residential District is a small housing estate located between Aleksandar Stamboliyski Blvd. to the north, Konstantin Velichkov Blvd. to the west and Ing. Ivan Ivanov Blvd. to the east.
The predominant construction type in the district is the EPK ("large-area shuttering") - high-rise buildings built in the period between 1990 and 1995, which give the district its characteristic look. There are almost no panel buildings. In the last 4-5 years new brick apartment buildings are replacing the old single-family houses on the periphery around K. Velichkov Blvd. and in the district itself. There are old brick apartment blocks built in the 70s along Al. Stamboliyski Blvd. - typically 6-storey buildings with shops and other commercial establishments on the ground floor.
On the territory of the Zona B-19 is the National Children's Palace offering over 60 forms of learning for children for development of social abilities, adding general knowledge and perfecting technical skills. On the territory on the district is the 136th Primary School on Al. Stamboliyski Blvd., Mihai Eminescu Romanian Language Vocational school and 120th Kindergarten on 125 Pozitano Str. There is a community centre Aura on Al. Stamboliyski Str.
