Slaveykov is a quarter in the northern part of Burgas.
It is the second biggest residential quarter in Burgas, after Meden rudnik. Its population is approximately 40 000 people. It neighbours Prof. Yakim Yakimov Blvd and Industrial zone on the north-west and south-west, Stefan Stambolov Blvd, Izgrev and Zornitsa quarters on the north-east and Struga Blvd, Bratya Miladinovi quarter and Rabotnicheski zhilishta quarter on the south.
The complex is constructed with panel and high-rise buildings from the 70's and 80's of the last century. New, luxurious brick buildings have been constructed in the recent years. Here is the longest residential building in the country and the highest building in Burgas (95 m) - Mirage Hotel.
Slaveykov comprises two kindergartens, four nursery schools, two secondary schools, one elementary school, one primary school, a police station and a territory office of Burgas Municipality.
There are two parks, a swimming pool complex, a sport hall, commercial areas, hypermarkets, a medical centre and a post office in the complex.
The residents of the quarter are served by the following public transportation:
- Bus lines No 2, No 2A and No 121 - to Meden rudnik quarter
- Bus line No 4 - to Izgrev quarter
- Bus line No 12 - to Lazur quarter
- Bus line No 12 A - to the railway station
