Sivino is a village in southern Bulgaria. It is located in Smolyan Municipality, Smolyan region.

Situated 27 km southwest from the town of Smolyan and 24 km in the same direction from the town of Rudozem, 37 km from the town of Madan and 270 km southeast from the city of Sofia. It is situated about 2 km from the border with Greece.
Bus connects it to other cities.

Located in a mountainous area at ​​1163 m altitude. The climate is mountainous with a strong influence of the Mediterranean. Winter is mild and snowy, summer is cool and humid, long and warm autumn.

The permanent population is about 161 people.

The village has a town hall, community center, mosque and store. The nearest kindergarten and school is in the neighboring village Smilyan, there's also a health service. The nearest hospital is in Madan.

TOURISM

The guests of the village can stay at a guest house with a restaurant.

Undoubtedly the biggest attraction in the area is the cave "Uhlovitsa" / 16 km /. It is one of the oldest in the region and the richest caves in Bulgaria. Challenge are 180 iron steps to the entrance and 288 feet inside. The cave has a hall of pit and ends with 4 beautiful lakes that in early spring are filled with water. As the largest lake descend streams of brilliant stone waterfall.

Arda River and its tributaries along village of Smilyan / 10 km / are preferred for many fishermen. In the village a major attraction is the restaurant with the garden where can be seen deer, rabbits, grouse and huge wild boars.

Adventurers can take the tourist route "Garga Dere", with rock climbing and rappelling, alpine trolley and penetration in caves, including one with an underground stream.
