The Naval Museum
The Naval Museum is one of the symbols of the city of Varna. It is located in the most southern part of the Sea Garden. The beautiful building of the Museum was constructed in 1890 for the Italian consul Assaretto. A collection of sea cannons, the old lighthouse of the Varna port and one of the first Bulgarian mine-sweepers is arranged in the yard of the Museum. There are two main expositions, arranged in 12 halls, following the sea history of the region from the antiquity to nowadays and an exposition of sea transportation. There can also be seen the yacht "Cor Caroli" and two helicopters from the helicopter squad of the Naval Forces of Bulgaria. The most precious exponat is the torpedo-boat "Drazki" a part of the exposition since 1957. It is famous for the torpedoing the Turkish cruiser "Hamidie" on November 12th, 1912. This is the only ship of this type preserved till today.

Chuprene Biosphere Reserve
