Stefan Karadzha is a village in south-east Bulgaria in municipality of Dobrich. It’s located 59 km south of Varna, 9 km south-east of Dobrich and 38 km of the sea-line.
MAIN INFORMATION
The relief is mainly plain, climate is continental, with typical for the region hot and dry summer, warm autumn, cold winter with snow and sunny spring. The population is about 290 people. The altitude is 236 m.
The village was founded at the beginning of 19th century around inn and a mill.
INFRASTRUCTURE
Stefan Karadzha has school, kindergarten, library, tiny park, municipality, post office, shops etc. The village had water and electricity, roads are in good condition.
Local people are working mainly in farming. Being part of Dobrich Province the land is very generous. It’s suitable for growing wheat, rye, oats, sunflowers and corn. Fruit-growing and gardening are developed for personal needs. Part of the local people work in town of Dobrich.
