Brosh is a village situated in Southern Bulgaria. It is part of Kardzhali Municipality, Kardzhali region.

Brosh is set on the banks of Kardzhali Dam in the Eastern Rhodopes. It is about 6 km west from town of Kardzhali, 40 km north-east from town of Ardino, 49 km south-west from town of Haskovo, 250 km in the same direction from town of Burgas and 243 km south-east from city of Sofia.

Its population is approximately 140 people.

Summer is sunny and hot. Winter is quite mild. The average winter temperature is about 0 C and the summer one is about 24 C. The sea altitude is approximately 238 m.

Brosh is provided with water and electricity. It is in close proximity to Kardzhali and the villa settlement Enchets. Enchets (1 km) comprises a town hall, a post office, health services, a comprehensive school and a kindergarten. 

TOURISM

Kardzhali Dam is the perfect place for recreation, sun-bathing and practicing water sports in the summer. There are many hotels, restaurants and villas constructed in close proximity. The dam is one of the biggest in the country. Interesting tourist attraction are the floating pontoons-restaurants offering rich fish menu. Tourists may try water bicycles, jets and water ski. Modern row base is located near the village. 

Fishing here is quite various. The waters of the dam are inhabited by brook trout, sturgeon, carp, amour, chub, perch, etc.

Interesting landmark in the region is the medieval complex of Perperikon (26 km), which is one of the 100 Tourist Sites of Bulgaria. Other places of interest are the Stone mushrooms (10 km) and The Stone wedding (25 km) - interesting natural sites.
