Novo delchevo is a village situated in South-western Bulgaria. It is part of Sandanski Municipality, Blagoevgrad region.
It is 5 km south-east from town of Sandanski, 13 km away from town of Melnik, 15 km away from town of Petrich and 90 km away from town of Bansko.
It borders with the villages of Damynitsa (1 km in northern direction), Sklave (2 km in eastern direction) and Levunovo (2 km in southern direction). 'Skalata' eminence is visible from the end of the village. This eminence reveals panoramic view of Rupite land. The beautiful north part of Pirin Mountain is visible from here as well.
The centre of Novo delchevo comprises a town-hall, a post office, a dentist, a doctor and a library. There is a renovated kindergarten, several shops and public houses. The pupils go to the school in village of Damyanitsa.
The stadium of the village is well-maintained and offers good conditions for practicing sports. Spectacular are always the football games of the local team 'Chaser'.
There are two temples in the village: 'St Trinity' is an orthodox church and 'The Assumption' is a catholic church. Monument of the legendary revolutionary Gotse Delchev stands in the centre of Novo delchevo.
The region is with well-developed conservatory agriculture. Most of the people work in the near hypermarket, the industrial centre for metal production and the several tailoring workshops.
The village is served by bus lines of Sandanski's public transportation.
Due to the proximity of Sandanski the village is an attractive place for living. It is tranquil and quiet.
Just 1 km away passes the railway line Sofia-Kulata.
