Gorni Bogrov is a village situated in Sofia municipality, Sofia district.
The village is part of Kremikovtsi region and comprises about 1200 inhabitants. It is located 18 km away from Sofia city, 47 km away from town of Pernik and 102 km away from town of Kyustendil. Gorni Bogrov borders village of Dolni Bogrov, town of Elin Pelin, village of Buhovo and Sofia city.
This is a plain region, with possibilities for development of future industrial construction. The golf playground in village of Ravno pole is about 10 km away. It fulfils all European standards. Future connection between Hemus and Trakiya Highways is envisaged to be built near the village.
Primary School №111 'St St Cyril and Methodius', community centre 'Mirosko Raychev' and Kindergarten №47 are located in the village.
