Dobrich is a village in southern Bulgaria. It is part of Dimitrovgrad municipality, Haskovo region.

In Bulgaria there are two more settlements with the samen name - town of Dobrich, Dobrich region and village of Dobrich in Elhovo municipality, Yambol region.

The village is located 7 km southwest of Dimitrovgrad, 18 km north of Haskovo, 70 km south of Plovdiv, 215 km southeast of Sofia city.

The altitude of the village is about 140 m. Banska river passes through the village, with four bridges over it.

The climate of the region is transitional-continental, characterized by mild winters and short, dry, hot summers and insufficient annual rainfall.

Population is about 1350 people.

On the territory of Dobrich are functioning a town hall, a health center, a church, a community center, a kindergarten, a stadium with a football club "Dobrich-Athlete", shops.

The nearest hospitals are in Dimitrovgrad.

In the area is developed crop-growing - mainly cereals like wheat, maize and sunflower, as well as vegetable-growing - mainly tomatoes, peppers, tobacco, cotton and others.

Sightseeings and landmarks

Today the village of Dobrich is known throughout Bulgaria with a miraculous fountain of Holy trinity, located in the home of grandmother Vasilka. Over the years, the old woman was able to built well into a small chapel with icons and candles.

Monastery "Uspenie Bogorodichno" is located approximately 2 km southeast of the village.
