Zagortsi is a village in southeastern Bulgaria. It is located in Nova Zagora Municipality, Sliven region.

In Bulgaria there are two villages with the same name in Krushari municipality, Dobrich region, Sredets municipality, Burgas region.

It is 9 km southwest from the town of Nova Zagora, about 42 km east from the town of Stara Zagora, 48 km southwest from the town of Sliven, 261 km southeast from the city of Sofia. Village of Sabrano is 4 km away.
The village has a regular bus service to Nova Zagora and Sliven.

Located 180 meters above sea level. The climate is temperate continental with mild winter, but a long one, cool summer.

The permanent population is about 480 people. The main occupation is farming.

In the village there is a town hall, community center, shops and cafes. There is Internet, cable TV and mobile phone coverage.
Nearest hospital and schools are located in the town of Nova Zagora.

Tourism and landmarks

- Among the cultural attractions of the city is the Historical Museum, with a permanent exhibition of masterpieces of Bulgarian art during the Renaissance.

- Interest is the Clock Tower, which was built in 1808.

- House-museum "Sliven life" will introduce to you more about the local traditions and customs.

- Ethnographic Museum is in a house from the XIX century with very interesting architecture. Municipal Gallery "Orphan Ranger" provides exposure of contemporary Bulgarian art.

- In Sliven there are many Christian churches, the most famous among them is"St. Dimitar " in the center.

Area Karandila is located in the northeast part of Sliven. There is situated the National Park "Blue Rocks" - very beautiful place that stretches at approximately 11,380 hectares. There are quite difficult and dangerous places, many representatives of flora and fauna threatened with extinction and many nooks and phenomena that are worth seeing live.

35 km away is situated one of the largest spa complexes in the country, Sliven Mineral Baths.
