Brusnik is a village in West Bulgaria. It is situated in Breznik municipality, Pernik region. 

It is 14 km northwest of the town of Breznik. and 33 km in the same direction from the town of Pernik. The capital Sofia is 51 km southeast. 

Bus transportation connects it to the other settlements. 

It is situated in mountain area in the historical and geographical area "Burel" that encompasses the West Bulgaria and East Serbia known also as the West Outlands - the village is the is the southernmost point of the region. Its altitude is 912 m. 
The climate is temperate. The summer is hot and the winter is cool. The amount of precipitation is little. 

The permanent population is about 16 people. 

In the village are constructed water and electricity installations. The nearest GPs, dentists, hospital, schools, kindergarten and pharmacy are on the territory of the town of Breznik. The mayor's vice-royalty is in Krasava village (8 km). 

Tourism and landmarks

The surrounding scenery is picturesque and the air is fresh. In proximity is Kitka peak and Krasava dam is nice place for fishing and relaxation.

Bardoto area is famous for its "zhelyazna" mineral water which springs from the south part of the hill in Leskov dol area. The mineral spring attracts healthy and sick people from the ancient past for its healing characteristics which are due to the rich mineral chemical compounds and valuable physico-chemical and and physiological characteristics.
