Razhavets is a village in West Bulgaria. It is located in Breznik municipality, Pernik region.
It is 1 km from the neighboring village of Banishte, 22 km southwest of the town of Breznik and 41 km northwest of the town of Pernik. The capital Sofia is 67 km east from the village.
It located in mountain region and its altitude is about 901 km. The climate is temperate and is characterized with cold winter and warm summer.
The permanent population is about 14 people.
The nearest store is in the neighboring village of Banishte. There are hospital, dentists and pharmacies are working in the town of Breznik. Schools and kindergartens can be found in the village of Noevtsi (18 km) and in the municipality.
Tourism and landmarks
The church St Yoan Bogoslov in the village of Banishte dates back to the 1870. The beautiful frescoes on the outside are reconstructed and partially renewed on the inside.
Not far is Kopran peak and you must go for an excursion in this beautiful area because except for the fresh air at the foot of the peak you will also find four karst springs.
The people that enjoy fishing can take advantage of conditions that Breznishki izvor dam (7 km) and Lilyantsi dam (8 km) creates.
Brabchanski waterfall (15 km) is another area in proximity that you should on excursion to.
