Zgurova is a village located in western Bulgaria, part of the Municipality Nevestino, Kyustendil Region.
Located 9 km from the village of Nevestino, 15 km from the town of Kyustendil and 68 km from Sofia.
Its population about 100 inhabitants.
The area has mountainous terrain and is part of the geographical area Piyanets, south of the town of Kyustendil.
Altitude - 562 m.
The climate is temperate. Summers are long and warm and the winter - a relatively short and not too cold. Spring is warmer than the autumn.
Zgurova is formed by a central section and several neighborhoods: Mazarachevska, Chamovska, Bardachka, Ishtachka, Bostanlak.
The village has a school, grammar-school, as well as library, health facility, 6 mills, several grocery stores and taverns.
There is regular bus transport to the town of Kyustendil.
Zgurovo has water-main and electricty and in 1959 was built pumping station.
Main occupation is agriculture (grain, fruit, tobacco) and livestock. Also the domestic crafts are developed.
Zgurova is a picturesque village with beautiful scenery and fresh mountain air. Lovers of eco tourism come here to relax from the busy city life.
