Mladezhko is a village in the municipality of Malko Tarnovo, Burgas region.

It is 32 km northwest of the town of Malko Tarnovo, 56 km south of Burgas and about 410 km southeast of Sofia.


It is located in Strandja Mountain, at an altitude of 336 m near  passes the river Mladezhko. The climate is characterized by mild winters, often with positive temperatures, while summer is hot and dry.


The population is 25 people. The village has electricity and water, some of the streets are paved. There is a regular bus service to the town. The nearest kindergarten in the village Zvezdets / 12 km / and schools are within the village Krushevets / 25 km / municipal and city. Hospitals operate in Tsarevo / 65 km / and Bourgas.

The village has bungalows and villas that offer accommodation.

Landmarks:

Mladezhko is a part of the Natural Park "Strandzha", which is the largest protected area in the country and one of the most valuable in Europe.

At about 2 km from the village, in the area of ​​great fortress, the ruins of the largest medieval castle in Strandja. Situated on a plateau with an area 41.5 acres and is surrounded on three sides by walls. Found objects of pottery, iron objects, but the most interesting discoveries were horse statue in bronze, thin bronze bracelet and bronze coins of Emperor Constantine the Great and Theodosius I.

Natural Monument "Caves and springs of the River Youth" has an area of ​​over 8 hectares encompassing strong slashed several karst caves and karst springs.
