Toptolchane village

Topolchane is a village in South of Bulgaria. It is located in Sliven Municipality, Sliven Region.

In Bulgaria there is another one village with the same name in Kardzhazli Region.

It is located on about 15 km southeast from Sliven, 48 km western from Karnobat, 102 km northwestern from Burgas, and 326 km from the capital city of Sofia.
The village is only 1 km south from the Sofia-Sliven- Burgas Highway, and 3 km far from the Sofia-Burgas railway line.
There has a regulated bus-line from the village to Sliven, where there work most of the citizens of Topolchane and study all children. 

Topolchane is situated on the left bank on Sotirska River, on an altitude of 168 m. It is one of the bigger villages in Bulgaria with nearly 3000 residents.

The climate is Mild- Continental with a bland Mediterranean Influence. It is characterized with cool summers, winters are short and mild. and autumn is longer than spring

In the village has a town hall, a church "St. Dimitar", a community center, an elementary school, sports club judo, a shop and a cafe. There are internet and cable TV as well as coverage of all mobile operators. Two doctors and a dentist are care for the health of the village residents. Nearest schools and hospital are located in the town of Sliven.
