Turokovtsi is a village in West Bulgaria. It is situated in Tran municipality, Pernik region.

It is 5 km southwest in the town of Tran and 52 km northwest from the town Pernik. The capital Sofia is 77 km east.

It is situated in the mountain region of Rui and its altitude is 756 m. The climate is with clearly expressed four seasons - there are warm but not hot summer while the winter is severe. The spring is cool and with lots of precipitation and ends in the end of March the beginning of April and the fall is also warm.

The permanent population is also 142 people.

Here are functioning town hall, store and pub. In the village is working the only guest house in the area and it is with small restaurant. The nearest GPs, dentists, hospital, kindergarten and school work in the town of Tran.

Tourism and landmarks

From the Medieval times are left the remains of the church that was on the place of the holy place "St Prokopoi" but now barely it is seen. Another holy place is St George's situated north of the village in Krast area. It is named after a wood hundred years old and there is cross curved in it.

Except for the new houses in the village there are also many old houses with traditional architecture.

There is made organization for the practicing of village, cognitive and cultural tourism.

Among the landmarks of the area are the beautiful gorge of Erma river, Rui peak, the rock church "St Petka", the Tran monastery and the Vrabcha monastery.
