Breznishki izvor is a village in West Bulgaria. It is situated in Breznik municipality, Pernik region.

It is 9 km west of the town of Breznik and 29 km northeast of Pernik. The village of Rezhantsi is 4 km east. The capital Sofia is 58 km in the same direction.

Bus transportation connects it to the other settlements.

It is located in mountain area and its altitude is about 811 m. The climate is temperate and is affected by the mountain relief. The winter is cold and the summer is hot.

The permanent population is about 59 people.

In the village there are mayor's vice-royalty and shop. In Rezhantsi works GP. You can find hospital, dentists and pharmacies on the territory of the town of Breznik. Where are working the nearest schools, kindergartens and community center "Prosveshtenie".

Tourism and landmarks

Breznishki izvor dam is situated just to the village and is a great place for fishing and relaxation.

You can also go on an excursion to the mountain and visit "St Nickola" monastery which is at the foot of Lyubash peak.

Natural landmark is the cold mineral water spring Zhelyazna voda in the Burdoto area near Breznik.
