The village of Ravadinovo

Ravadinovo is a village situated in the Sozopol Municipality, Burgas District. 

  

It is located 6 km south of Sozopol, 35 km south-east of Burgas, about 2 km north-west of Dune beach and about 430 km from Sofia. 

  

It is set between the foothills of Strandzha mountain slopes and the Black Sea, on about 30 m altitude. 
The climate is strongly influenced by the proximity of the sea - the winter is mild, often with positive temperatures and the summer is hot and dry. 

  

The population is approximately 790 people. 

  

Ravadinovo has built electricity and water supply systems, sewerage is currently under construction. The village has several grocery stores, restaurants, primary school, community center, church and several family houses that offer accommodation to tourists. 
Regular transport connects it to Sozopol. 

    

Landmarks and opportunities for tourism: 

  

The biggest attraction is the castle "In love in the wind" which is under constructed and is located at the beginning of Ravadinovo. In it can be seen several lakes, excellent landscaped gardens, rock gardens, a chapel and a wine cellar. 
Church of St. John of Rila was consecrated in 2005. Each year on 19 October to celebrate her feast. 
The village has its own botanical garden with exotic plants. 
About 5 km away is the Thracian ancient fortress Malkoto kale. It was built in VIII century BC and has functioned to VI century 
Ravadinovo has good conditions for fishing, a few kilometers from it there are dams Fakuda, Gaber and Sinya voda. 
Feast of the village is celebrated every year from 26 May to 3 June.
