Chuypetlovo is a village in West Bulgaria. It is situated in Pernik municipality, Pernik region.
It is 34 km southeast of the town of Pernik. The village of Bosnek is 8 km west and the capital Sofia is 46 km north.
Just 20 km from the international road E79.
Chuypetlovo is situated in the heart of Vitosha mountain and it is the only settlement that is completely set in the natural park. And it is also the settlement with the highest altitude 1226 m in it. There is convenient asphalt road and bus transportation to the village. Electricity and water installations.
The climate is temperate but it is affected by the mountain relief. The winter is cold and the summer is cool.
The permanent population is about 34 people.
There are mayor, church and pub. In the nearest town Bosnek you find GP, primary school, community center, shops and cafeterias. There are kindergarten, medical assistance and dentist in the town of Pernik.
Tourism and landmarks
Struma river passes first by the village of Chuypetlovo. Another great place is Studena dam which is just 36 km away and offers great opportunities for fishing and relaxation.
Natural park Vitosha is distinguished by incredible scenery, fresh air and perfect conditions for winter sports provided by two ski centers "Aleko" and "Zlatnite mostove". From Chuypetlovo you can go by foot to Kladnitsa village and Yarlovo village as well as to Cherni vrah peak.
In proximity to the village of Bosnek is situated Duhlata cave which is the longest cave in Bulgaria and attracts many tourists. In the surrounding area there are 35 caves that are also interesting to see.
