Studenets is a village in southern Bulgaria. It is located in Chepelare Municipality, Smolyan region.

In Bulgaria there is another village with the same name in Loznitsa Municipality, Razgrad region.

It is located 13 km south from the town of Chepelare, 5 km in the same direction from the resort Pamporovo, 16 km northwest from the town of Smolyan and 232 km southeast from Sofia.
The village has a bus service to and from Smolyan.

Located in the Rhodope Mountains at 1467 meters above sea level. The permanent population is only about 10 people.

The climate is mild mountainous with Mediterranean influence. Winter is mild and snowy, and summer is cool and moist.

Nearest kindergarten, schools and hospital are located in the town of Chepelare.

In recent years Studenets established itself as a beautiful village resort located near the ski slopes of Pamporovo, Chepelare, near to peaks Snezhanka, Murgavets, Golyam Perelik and Observatory Rozhen.

Attractions in the area are:

- Yagodinska Cave/ 10 km / - the longest cave in the Rhodope Mountains is well laid out and there you can see all the cave formations known in the Balkans. The greatest interest are very beautiful cave pearls, the formation of which require hundreds of thousands of years.
- Haidushki Dol is one of the most inaccessible and beautiful canyons in the Rhodopes. In its sheer white walls towering hundreds of feet above the river wild, rare black pine grows. Its attaches with the charm of this creepy place.
- Devil's Bridge. This is a rock bridge, 8-10 m long with a thickness of 2-3 meters and a height of 30 meters. The rocks on which it is based are completely vertical. Nearby is the waterfall Pruskaloto.
- Videnitsa Peak - 1652 m. The peak was investigated by Irechek.
- The Devil's Throat Cave / 26 km /.
- With impressive beauty Trigradsko Gorge / 25 km /.
- Buynovsko Gorge is situated along the Trigrad Gorge.
