Sirishtik is a village in West Bulgaria. It is situated in Kovachevtsi municipality, Pernik region

It is 2 km north of Kovachevtsi and 19 km west of Radomir. Pernik is 28 km east and the village of Svetlya is 4 km north, village of Chepino is 7 km north. The capital Sofia is 55 km northeast. 

Regular bus transportation connects the village with the other settlements. 

It is set on the shore of Svetlya river at the foot of Rudina mountain and its altitude is 721 m. At the point where the river flows into Struma river is constructed Pchelina dam. The climate is the area is temperate - the summer is hot and the winter is cold. The mountain relief strongly affects the amount of precipitation and the air temperature.

The permanent population is about 472 people. 

In Sirishtnik are working church, primary school, community center, town hall, shop, pub and rest home. There is also football club. The nearest medical center is in Kovachevtsi where there are also dentist and pharmacy. In Lobosh village there is kindergarten. Specialized medical assistance you can find in the hospitals in Pernik. 

Tourism and landmarks

What makes the village attractive are its beautiful nature and fresh air and the opportunities for excursions and peaceful time spend on the shore of the river its location creates. In proximity is situated Sirishtnishka Rudina peak where there is also a cottage. Pchelina dam on the other hand is great place for fishing. 

In the neighborhoods above the village there are ruins from medieval fortresses and in the Ushite area there are ruins from the ancient church "St Nikola Letni". Annually there is festival of the mummers

In proximity to the village there are a couple of monasteries that you should visit - Chepinski monastery, Giginski monastery "St. Kozma and Damyan", Jablyanski monastery "St. Yoan Predtecha", Radibosh monastery "St. Troitsa" and the Zemen monastery.
