Selishten dol is a village in West Bulgaria. It is situated in Pernik municipality, Pernik region. 

It is 17 km northwest of the town of Pernik and 47 km west of the capital Sofia. The village of Noevtsi is 5 km northwest and the village of Yardzhilovtsi is 7 km southeast. 

It is located in a plane at the foot of Cherna (Tsarna) gora mountain and its altitude is 679 m. The climate is temperate with late spring and severe winter. 

Bus transportation connects it to the other settlements. There is constructed infrastructure as well as water and electricity systems.  

The permanent population is about 130 people. 

In the village are working mayor's vice royalty, community center, tavern and shop. The nearest GP, dentist, schools and kindergartens are on the territory of the neighboring villages - Noevtsi and Yardzhilovtsi. Specialized medical assistance you can get at the hospitals in Pernik. 
The village is with its own survakari group that makes authentic costumes. 

The people who enjoy fishing could take advantage of the great opportunities that the dams Yardzhilovtsi and Oslome offer. And there are just a few kilometers away. 

In the area you can visit Tumba peak (1880 m). 

Just 9 km away is Bardoto area famous for its "zhelyazna" mineral water which springs from the south part of the hill in Leskov dol area. The mineral spring attracts healthy and sick people from the ancient past for its healing characteristics which are due to the rich mineral chemical compounds and valuable physico-chemical and and physiological characteristics.

In the town of Pernik interesting historical landmark is the Krakra fortress.
