Village of Seliminovo

Seliminovo is a village in southeastern Bulgaria. It is located in Sliven Municipality, Sliven region.
It is about 18 km southwest from the town of Sliven, about 29 km northeast from the town of Nova Zagora, 126 km southwest from the town of Burgas, 303 km east from the city of Sofia.
Through the village passes railway line Sofia-Karlovo-Burgas. There is also a regular bus transport.
It is situated on the southern slopes of the Balkan Mountains 271 meters above sea level. The climate is temperate continental. Winters are mild and summers are hot. Autumn is longer than spring.
The permanent population is about 1,680 inhabitants. In the region widespread is the cultivation of peaches (and dessert compote), grapes, cherries, apples, cereals.
The village has a town hall, primary school, community center, shops and restaurants. The population is served by the health service with three GPs and a dentist. There is cable TV, internet and mobile phone coverage. The nearest kindergarten is situated in the village Gavrailovo / 3 km east /. The nearest hospital is located in the town of Sliven.
NATURAL ATTRACTIONS
Only 15 minutes on the way Gavrailovo - Byala you can reach to dam in the area "Elata" with altitude 750 m. Near the dam are built shelters to be used both in summer and winter populations.
Near the village crosses the Tunzha river, and 15 kilometers to the west is situated the Zhrebchevo dam.
Area Karandila is located in the northeast part of Sliven. There you can visit the National Park "Blue Rocks" with an area of 11,380 hectares, there are many interesting rock formations.
29 km southeast is located also one of the largest spa complexes in Bulgaria, Sliven Mineral Baths.
