Village of Sborishte

Sborishte is a village in southeastern Bulgaria. It is located in Tvarditsa Municipality, Sliven region.
Situated 7 km southwest from the town of Tvarditsa, 25 km north from the town of Nova Zagora, 37 km west from the city of Sliven, 30 km northwest from Sliven Mineral Baths and 292 km east from the city of Sofia.
There are regular bus and train transport.
It is situated at 300 meters above sea level. The permanent population is about 1900 people. The main occupation is farming and agriculture.
The climate is temperate-continental. Characterized by dry and hot summer, mild winter, relatively warm and long autumn.
The village has a town hall, kindergarten, elementary school, community center and several shops. There is cable TV, Internet and coverage of all mobile operators. The village has one general practitioner. In Tvarditsa there is a secondary school and the nearest hospital is located in the town of Sliven.
Sights
Sliven Mineral Baths, one of the largest spa complexes in the country - 30 km away.
Dam "Orizari" providing excellent conditions for fishing is located 6 km away from the village.
Nearby is Zhrebchevo Dam with a hotel, restaurant and extensive meadows and forests suitable for tents.
In the town of Tvarditsa you can visit:
- Fortress "Gradishte" - there can be seen the remains of a church from X-XII century with partially preserved fragments of frescoes.
- Church "Sveta Petka" - a cultural monument for its frescoes.
