Sadovets is village in North Bulgaria. It is located in Dolni Dubnik municipality, Pleven Region.

The village is situated 8 km southwest from Telish village and 9 km from Rakita village. Dolni Dubnik is 16 km southwest from Sadovets, Pleven - 36 km southwest, Cherven bryag - 28 km northeast from it. Sofia is 136 km southwest from the village.

The village is with regular bus service and good infrastructure. 

Sadovets falls in the middle between Danubian Plain and Predbalcan and its altitude is 186 m. The surrounding scenery is magnificent. 

The climate is temperate but the seasons are cycling - warmer winters are followed by severe ones, the cool summer with lots of rain are followed by dry and hot ones. The fertile soil and favorable climate are prerequisites for the cultivation of all kinds of crops, vegetables, vineyards and fruit trees. 

The permanent population is about 2 300 people.

In the village there are primary school, kindergarten, community center, church, post office, shops, restaurant and pharmacy. GP and dentist are working there. The nearest polyclinic is in town of Dolni Dubnik and specialized medical services you can seek in Pleven.

There are water and electricity installations and sewerage.

Tourism and landmarks

Vit river passes by the village and it is clean and fresh. A must-see is Studenets area and you can also visit the ancient fortress "Kaleto" which is set on the right shore of a small river just 5 km away from the village.

The area that surrounds Sadovets offers perfect conditions for relaxation and tourism and even for extreme activities like caving for there some 20 caves near the village like Sedlarkata, Ginina dupka and Chashkodrena or you can go on an excursion.
