Village of Radevo

Radevo is a village in southeastern Bulgaria. Located in Nova Zagora Municipality, Sliven region.
In Bulgaria there is another village with the same name in Aksakovo Municipality, Varna region.
It is located 11 km southeast from the town of Nova Zagora, about 45 km in the same direction from the town of Stara Zagora, 46 km southwest from the town of Sliven, 273 km southeast from the city of Sofia. Neighbouring village of Mlekarevo is located 7 km southeast.
There are bus connections to Nova Zagora and Sliven.
Located 299 meters above sea level. It falls within the continental temperate climate zone. Winters are mild and dry, relatively warm summer. Spring and autumn are rainy.
Its inhabitants are about 230 people. The occupation is connected with farming.
The village is laid out with excellent infrastructure, including electricity, water system, coverage of mobile networks, Internet.
In Radevo there is a town hall, a primary school, community center, shops and a cafe. In Mlekarevo you can find a doctor and a dentist. The nearest hospital and nursery are located in the town of Nova Zagora.
Tourist and cultural attractions
In the village of Mlekarevo there are 15 mounds, where they found Roman and Byzantine coins.
Near the village Pet mogili 13 km away, there are remains of an ancient necropolis. There was found a bronze statuette of Venus and 1000 tetradrachm.
At about 25 km away is located the dam Ovcharitsa, ideal for fishing, carp and perch can be caught there.
Village guests can enjoy the rich history, cultural heritage and natural beauty of Sliven: Historical Museum, the Ethnographic Museum, church "St. Dimitar ".
The area Karandila is located in the northeast of Sliven, among ancient forests. There is situated the National Park "Blue Rocks".
