Plodovitovo is a village in southern Bulgaria. It is located in Bratya Daskalovi Municipality, Stara Zagora region.
The village is located on the border of Plovdiv region and is located about 24 km southwest from the village of Bratya Daskalovi, 10 km southwest from the town of Chirpan, 56 km in the same direction from the city of Stara Zagora, 56 km east from the city of Plovdiv and 186 km southeast from the capital Sofia. There is regular bus transport.
Plodovitovo is situated at an altitude of 142 meters. Through the land of the village passes small river "Omdroveka". Summer in the village is characterized by high heat and the winter is relatively crude.
Plodovitovo has electricity and water supply. Has existing community center, elementary school and church. There are several shops and restaurants. Medical care is taken over by a General Practitioner. The nearest hospital and kindergarten are located in the town of Chirpan.
The permanent population is about 760 inhabitants. The main occupation is farming and agriculture. The soil is extremely fertile. Not surprisingly, in the village is situated one of the biggest vegetable market in southern Bulgaria.
