Pisarovo is a village in North Bulgaria. It is situated in Iskar municipality, Pleven region

In Bulgaria there is one other settlement that is with the same name in General-Toshevo, Dobrich region

It is 6 km south of the town of Iskar, 9 km northwest of the village of Gorni Dabnik and 34 km west of the town of Pleven. The capital Sofia is 140 km southwest. 

It is located in a hollow in the Danubian Plain in proximity to the flow of Iskar river and its altitude is 155 m. The climate is temperate and considerably dry. The winter is cold while the spring is hot and the summer is hot, and the fall comes in the midst of October.

The permanent population of the village is 931 people.

The village is very well maintained - the central streets are asphalted and with lighting. There are constructed water and electricity systems. The mobile operators have coverage. Regular bus transportation connects it to the other settlements.

Here are functioning town hall, post office, primary school, kindergarten, community center with choir, stores and restaurants. One GP and a dentist take care for the people in the village while hospital you can find on the territory of the municipality.
There is nice stadium in the village of Pisarovo and also football club.

Gorni Dabnik dam offers excellent opportunities for fishing and water sports and also for relaxation. It is part of the protected areas from the program "Natura 2000". Here are constructed holiday home and restaurant. 

In the town of Pleven you can visit three of the 100 Tourist Sites of Bulgaria - Pleven Epopee 1877, the Regional History museum and the mausoleum-chapel "St George Pobedonosets". Other interesting places in proximity are Kaylaka park and the Wine Museum.
