Village of Panaretovtsi

Panaretovtsi is a village in southeastern Bulgaria. It is located in Sliven Municipality, Sliven region.
It is located 14 km southwest from the town of Sliven, about 30 km northeast from the town of Nova Zagora and 297 east from the capital - Sofia.
There are regular buses to the city of Sliven.
It is situated in the northern foothills of Sarnena gora mountain at 144 meters altitude. Climate is characterized by mild winters and relatively warm summers.
The population is about 340 people. Well-developed here is the fruit and grain production.
The village has a community center, shops and a cafe. There is Internet access, cable television and coverage of all mobile operators. Medical care is covered by two GPs.
In the neighbouring village Samuilovo / 4 km north / you can find a church, primary school, kindergarten, post office, several shops for groceries, household goods shop, several pubs.
Nearest schools and health facilities are located in the town of Sliven.
Surroundings and sights
14 km northwest is located the famous resort Sliven Mineral Baths. The healing mineral water and picturesque surroundings set the resort as a preferred location for medical treatment and family vacations.
The area is a popular spot for wine tourism. One of the attractions is a chateau in the village of Zlati voivoda / 12 km northwest /. The complex is located in the vineyard, with a tasting room and a four star hotel. For visitors a guided tour is arrange.
In Sliven village guests can visit: church "St. Sofia", church "St. Mary", the History Museum, the Ethnographic Museum, the House - Museum Hadzhi Dimitar.
