Osikovska lakavitsa is a village in West Bulgaria. It is situated in Pravets municipality, Sofia region.

It is less than a kilometer south of the village of Dzhurovo and 11 km north of the town of Pravets. The town of Botevgrad is 20 km southwest and the capital Sofia is 74 km in the same direction.

It is located in mountain region and its altitude is about 565 m. The climate is temperate and is characterized by cold winter, warm but not cold summer and the precipitation falls mostly in the months March and June.

Regular bus transportation connects it to the neighboring settlements. The infrastructure is very good as the village is connected with others by Hemus highway, the central streets are asphalted and with lighting, there are constructed water, electricity and phone systems. All mobile operators have coverage, there also is Internet connection.

The permanent population is about 368 people.

Here are working town hall, primary school, stores and pub. There is Orthodox temple "Uspenie na presveta Bogoroditsa". The nearest nursery and a GP in the neighboring village Djurovo. In Botevgrad there is medical center and in the capital you will find specialized hospitals.

The mild mountain climate combined with the different relief, the clean and preserved nature make have turned Dzhurovo into into attractive place for the development of the eco and village tourism.

Just to the village of Osikovitsa dam that offers nice conditions for fishing.

To the village of Osikovitsa also you can visit the church "St Archangel Michael", as well as the monastery "St Bogoroditsa". Another interesting cultural landmark in proximity is Chekotinski monastery (14 km northwest) and suitable for an excursion in the weekends.

Saeva dupka cave that is part of the list of 100 Tourist sites of Bulgaria is about 16 km northeast. This unique natural phenomenon is among the most beautiful and musical and there you can see unique for Bulgaria heliktites.

For the people that enjoy golfing there are excellent conditions - the golf course in Pravets and the complex Pravets Resort Golf and SPA (15 km) reaches even the highest standards.
