The village of Lovchantzi is part of Dobrich municipality, Dobrich region. It is located 15 km away from the town of Dobrich, 42 km away from the town of Balchik and 65 km away from the city of Varna.

The population numbers to approximately 950 people. The altitude is 250 m. The climate is temperate-continental and is characterized by a sunny and hot summer and cold, snowy winter. Relief - alternating flat fields and rolling hills.
