Kramolin is a village in the municipality of Sevlievo, Gabrovo region.

It is 28 km north of the town of Sevlievo, 55 km northwest of Gabrovo, 40 km east of Lovech, 10 km northeast of the city Suhindol, about 60 km southeast of Pleven, 70 km west of Veliko Tarnovo and about 180 km northeast of Sofia.

It is situated on the River Magar, at an altitude of 385 m. The climate is characterized by warm summers and cold, snowy winters.

The population is about 500 people. There is a regular bus service to the town of Sevlievo.

Kramolin have electricity and water supply systems, a range of mobile operators. In the village there are a post office, primary school, kindergarten and health center with four GPs. There are shops and winery. The nearest hospital and medical center located in the town of Sevlievo.

The name of the village comes from the old Bulgarian word "kramola", which means "strife".

In Kramolin there are a private museum, outlining tools, household items and other interesting items. In the center is a clock tower monument on which are inscribed the names of the victims of Hristo Botev's detachment and liberation war. It was declared a cultural monument. Church "Ascension of Christ" is a cultural and historical monument. It was built in 1898 and renovated in 2003.

Fortress "city" is located about 4 km from Kramolin. From former castle are preserved remains of walls higher than 3 m and the foundations of medieval churches. It is believed that the name comes from the village led fierce battles to protect the fort.


About 7 km away from the dam "Alexander Stamboliiski" which offers excellent fishing conditions.

Festival of Kramolin held in early June, the feast of the village on September 22.
