Zlatiya is a village in Valchedram Municipality, Montana Region.
There is another village in Bulgaria with the same name. It is in Dobrich Municipality, Dobrich Region.
It is 8 km north-east of Valchedram, 42 km in the same direction of Montana, 21 km south-east of Lom, 24 km west of Kozlodui and about 112 km north-west of Sofia.
It is set at the banks of Tsibaritsa River, about 5 km away of Danube River.
Its population is approximately 838 people. Transportation goes to Valchedram, Lom and Kozlodui.
Zlatiya is provided with electricity, water, coverage of the mobile operators and Internet. There is a town-hall, an elementary school, a kindergarten and health services with three doctors and one dentist. The nearest hospital is in town of Lom. Shops and public houses are available as well.
There are two monuments in the village in honour of the dead soldiers. German pill-box was located in 'Rapeto' area.
The guests of the village may visit 'St Paraskeva' church, which is a reduction of 'Alexander Nevski' cathedral. In Valchedram the guests may see the monuments in honour of Vasil Levski, Yanko voivode and the soldiers who died in the First World War.
The region of Zlatiya is extremely suitable for fishing and hunting tourism.
