Dabovan is a village in North Bulgaria. It is located in Gulyantsi municipality, Pleven region.

It is 12 km northwest of the town of Gulyantsi, 37 km west of the town of Nikopol and 48 km north of the town of Pleven. The neighboring village of Zagrazhden is 5 km west and the capital Sofia is 197 km southwest.

It is situated in the Danubian Plain on the bank of Danube river and its altitude is 29 m. The climate is temperate and is characterized by hot summer and cold winter.

The permanent population is about 558 people.

Bus transportation connects it to the other settlements. There are constructed water and electricity systems. The mobile operators have coverage.

Here are functioning town hall, community center, kindergarten, store and coffee shop. GP takes care for the local people. The nearest hospital as well as schools are on the territory of the town of Gulyantsi.

Near the village there is small dam suitable for fishing. The bank of Danube river is favorite place for relaxation and sun bathing.

The local cultural and archaeological heritage in the area is presented mainly by the archaeological reserve "Oescus" near Gigen village (15 km) which is declared cultural monument with national significance. It consists of remains from Roman and Byzantium cities.
