Drugan is a village in West Bulgaria. It is situated in Radomir municipality, Pernik region.

It is 12 km southeast of the town of Radomir, 32 km south of the town of Pernik, 4 km southwest of the village of Staro selo and 6 km north west of the village of Dolna Dikanya. The capital Sofia is 44 km northeast.

It is located at the foot of Golo Bardo mountain on the main road Radomir - Dupnitsa and its altitude is 701 m. It consists of the neighborhoods Chakarova, Dzhamalitsa, Gramada, Opalovo and Blatoto that are scattered on the hills.
The climate is temperate and is characterized by late spring, cool summer and early winter.

Bus transportation connects it to the other settlements. The streets that connect the neighborhoods were renovated.

The permanent population is about 463 people.

The village is well maintained. Here are functioning town hall, community center with library and theater, church, medical center, shops, coffee shop and pub. The nearest school is in the village of Dren (13 km). Kindergarten and specialized medical assistance you can find on the territory of Radomir.
In Drugan there is football club. There are several amateur groups - folklore group that are occupied in the survakari customs and the mummery games, choir and dance group.
The locals grow mainly wheat, barley, sun flower, corn and potatoes.

Tourism and landmarks

In the small park in the center of the village there is constructed monument of the people who died during the wars. Near the village there are two chapels - "St Srebra" and "St Dimitar" in Ogoya area.

Just one km from the village is located Stefanovo dam which is very nice place and offers great opportunities for fishing of pike, carp and other fishes. The night fishing is also permitted. In no more than 10 km there other dams Dolna Dikanya, Studena and Varba.

Ten kilometers from the village is the largest cave in Bulgaria - Duhlata that attracts many tourists.
