Village of Gabrovtsi

Gabrovtsi is a village in Veliko Turnovo municipality, Veliko Tarnovo region.

It is situated 19 km south from Veliko Tarnovo, 7 km southwest of Kilifarevo and about 240 km east of Sofia.

It is set at an altitude of 404 meters on the river Yenyoytsa, a tributary of the River Belitsa. The climate is characterized by warm summers and cold, snowy winter.

The population numbers about 40 people. There is regular bus transport to and from Veliko Tarnovo twice a day.

The village has a Mayor's viceroyalty, community center, equestrian center and guest house. Here were discovered two mineral springs. Nearest school and kindergarten are located in Kilifarevo. Medical care is covered by the hospital in Veliko Tarnovo.
