Vladimir is a village in West Bulgaria. It is situated in Radomir municipality, Pernik region.
It is 16 km southeast of the town of Radomir and 33 km south of the town of Pernik. The village of Dren is 11 km southeast and the village of Dolna Dikanya is 5 km east. The capital Sofia is 45 km northeast.
The village is situated at the foot of Verila and Konyavska mountain and its altitude is 673 m. The climate is temperate and is characterized by late spring, cool summer and early winter.
Bus transportation connects it to the other settlements.
The permanent population is about 204 people.
Here are functioning town hall, community center, store and coffee shop. In the village of Dren are working the nearest GP and dentist as well as a school. Specialized medical assistance you can get at Radomir where there also are kindergartens and in the town of Pernik.
Tourism and landmarks
Above the village is situated the chapel "St Petka".
In proximity are located Dolna Dikanya and Dyakovo dams that offer great opportunities for fishing. In the area you can visit Ostritsa natural reserve, the medieval fortress Krakra near Pernik and "St Petka" church in the village of Dren which is architectural monument and its frescoes date back to the Renaissance.
About ten kilometers from the village is situated the largest cave in Bulgaria - Duhlata that attracts many tourists.
