Vinarovo is a village in southern Bulgaria. It is located in Chirpan Municipality, Stara Zagora region.
There is another village in Bulgaria with the same name - in Vidin region, Novo Selo Municipality.
The village is located 18 km northeast from town of Chirpan, 25 km southwest from city of Stara Zagora and 208 km southeast from the capital city of Sofia, near main road Stara Zagora - Chirpan and Trakya motorway. The distance to city of Plovdiv is 77 km.
The population of Vinarovo is approximately 285 inhabitants. The altitude is 299 m. Terrain is flat.
Climate is typical for the Upper Thracian Valley - mild with relatively short winter season, hot summer with few rains.
This area gives excellent growing conditions for tobacco and vegetables, but as the name of the village suggests itself vine is widespread.
In village of Vinarovo there is a cultural center with an exuberant library. There is also a museum. Part of the exposition is dedicated to the ethnographic heritage of the village, and the other part is dedicated to the history of the village - from its establishment till the years of socialism in Bulgaria.
There is a school in the village, but it has been closed for the past few years. Health care is provided by one general medical practitioner.
In the village there is a small vine cellar with a guest house.
Two kilometers north from the village in the area Eledzhika there is a tourist hut, which over the past few year has been rundown. Near the village there are remains of thracian sanctuaries, primitive settlements. Votive tablets have been found in the land.
