Village of Batoshevo is located in the municipality of Sevlievo, Gabrovo region.
It is situated 17 km south from Sevlievo, about 24 km north - west of Gabrovo, 67 km north - east of Veliko Tarnovo, 30 km south - west of Apriltsi and about 200 km north - east of Sofia.
The village is set at the foot of Balkan mountain, on the riverside of Rosica.
The population is about 780 people.
Batoshevo has a municipality building, shops, a restaurant, a church and several family villas for guests. There are a medical center with a general practitioner, a kindergarten and community center. The village has regular bus transport to Sevlievo and neighbouring cities.
There are two small hydroelectric plants constructed on the riverside.
Tourism and landmarks:
There are good conditions for tourism because of the scenery and fresh mountain air. The convent "Presentation of the Blessed Virgin" is situated in the centre of the village. There is another monastery about 3 km away named "Assumption", which was founded in the XIII century during the time of King Mikhail Assen.
In Sevlievo tourists can visit the architectural complex The houses of Dandolovi, the Liberty Monument, the Clock Tower, the House of Culture and many others.
